Hello friends!

Andrew and I realized that some of you may be looking for Nepal stuff. Andrew posted a bunch of great Nepal pictures when he first opened this blog, so you'll have to go to 'older posts" to see those. We anticipate being able to update this with on-the-scene pictures and stories once we are there (hopefully in a couple months!), so stay tuned!


In the meantime. . .
The highlight of our month was a week of training in Chicago with the organization we will work with in Nepal. We learned so much from people who spent their lives doing what we aspire to do--they shared freely of their wisdom, frustrations, victories and cultural faux pas'. The couple on the right will be working in Nepal as well, so it was great to meet them.

Earlier in the month Andrew began teaching me the art of fruit tree pruning. Friends of ours have a few trees, so we spent a day over there bringing the trees back down to size.
